Development of a country starts with the family - the foundation building block of society.  By enabling the world’s weakest and poorest families to break the vicious circle of poverty and to take control of their future, we can make a difference for the people, their country and global society.

Poverty and Deprivation

Poverty in Developing World

Poverty crushes the human spirit. Three billion people - half of the world’s population - live on less than $2 per day and are unable to meet their basic human needs. Malnutrition, lack of healthcare, substandard housing and illiteracy breed desperation, disease and constant suffering. The Development of a country starts with the bedrock of the society: the family. Enabling the weakest and poorest families to break away from the circle of poverty and take over the control of their future will make a difference to the people, their country and the global society. Women are often the primary or sole family providers. Putting income in women’s hands is the most efficient way to impact an entire family, as women typically put the needs of their childrens before their own.
