Dr. Gabriele Inaara Aga Khan, Amabassador for FIFA Football for Hope: “20 centres for 2010 is the official campaign of the 2010 FIFA Worldcup South Africa. The campaign will create 20 Football for Hope Centres to promote Education, Public Health and Football.”
Begum Inaara Aga Khan took part in the annual Digital Life Design (DLD) Conference at HVB Forum on 26th January, 2010 in Munich, Germany.
It was a most romantic winter’s weekend at the Sonnenhof, the headquarters of SOS-Project für Mensch und Tier e.V. : The first snow was drifting softly then sunshine broke through, lending its sparkle to the Bavarian winterscape.
The first FIFA’s Football for Hope Centre in Khayelitsha, in the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa opened its doors to bring new hope into the community and to help tackle HIV/AIDS and some of the biggest issues facing young people .
The 32 teams participating at 2010 FIFA World Cup™ finals discovered their fate on the evening of 4th of December, 2009 when the Final Draw for South Africa 2010 took place in Cape Town.
