Google Zeitgeist Conference 2009

Begum Inaara Aga Khan joined other activists and philanthropists at Google’s Annual “Zeitgeist” Conference in Hertfordshire. Since its launch in 2005, “Zeitgeist” has become a platform for leading visionaries, entrepreneurs, politicians, activists and philanthropists.
Amongst the speakers at the conference was H.R.H The Prince of Wales, who called for the protection of the climate and saving of the rainforests. He also stated that the web had the power to “inform and challenge” people’s thinking, and called it “potentially the most important tool in history”.
